So it’s been awhile between blog posts over here (insert guilty look). Our excuse is that this past October has been our busiest month ever (yay to that) and at the same time, we have been hard at work releasing some new designs – all featuring foil printing in gorgeous colours like metallic gold, silver, pink, rose gold, copper and lilac – that we CANNOT WAIT to show you in the next few weeks! We are so excited to get our new designs up on the website. Stay tuned, they’re a’comin’! And in the meantime, if you’re after foil press wedding invitations, we can help – get in touch for a quote or to find out pricing.
But today – oh lovely, most welcome Friday that you are – today we’re showcasing some beautiful letterpress wedding invitations and save the dates that we designed and printed for delightful couple Katherine and Alex.
Held in the stunning grounds of Waverley Estate in Port Elliot, South Australia, Katherine and Alex’s wedding day was simply beautiful from start to finish.
The couple chose our Hand-Lettered design for both their save the dates and wedding invitations, which we letterpress printed in soft grey ink onto 100% cotton stock, and paired with matching envelopes.
We also created matching letterpress reply cards with return address labels, letterpress info cards and mailing labels personalised with their guests’ names and addresses.
Once we saw Katherine and Alex’s beautiful wedding photos, we were so happy to see how their stationery perfectly fitted into their day – it was all about stylish, elegant simplicity, perfectly echoed in their letterpress wedding invitations (and isn’t that the point of good stationery? To introduce the event to come? Yes, we think so too! 🙂
I also particularly love how the vintage qualities of letterpress tie in perfectly with the era of their venue – Waverley Estate is a unique property that dates back to 1856.
And now for some shots of their gorgeous wedding day (all photography by Shona Henderson):
What a beautiful wedding! Katherine and Alex are such a lovely couple and look so happy together. I love the bridesmaids in stylish grey – tying in perfectly with Katherine and Alex’s stationery – and the romantic streamers strung from trees at the ceremony. And let’s not forget the adorable flower girl and page boy.
Katherine and Alex, it was such a pleasure to work with you for your wedding invitations! We wish you all the very best for married life ahead xx
