The weather’s taken a turn for the cooler here in Melbourne today, and suddenly I’m reminded that autumn’s here and winter will soon be on the way. Which totally got me thinking of a lovely winter wedding we have to share – that of gorgeous couple Jennifer and Paul, who married last winter in picturesque Queenstown, New Zealand (which was also our home away from home for the last five years, before we moved back to Melbourne as permanent Aussie residents again!). We have such a huge place in our hearts for Queenstown and miss it and our Kiwi friends there dearly – there is nowhere else quite like it on earth and we’re pretty sure we’ll never live anywhere quite as beautiful again).
Jennifer and Paul were married at Queenstown’s stunning Stoneridge Estate, on a dramatically wintery August day.
The couple chose our Script design for both their save the dates and letterpress wedding invitations, which we letterpress printed in classic black ink onto 100% cotton ivory stock, and paired with matching envelopes.
To complete their invitation suite, we also created matching Script-style reply cards, info insert cards and invitation name tags – personalised with guest names, and complete with a grapevine to represent their winery wedding. The tags were bound with gold eyelets and tied with twine around each invitation suite to bundle them neatly into the envelopes.
And now for some shots of their breathtakingly beautiful winter’s wedding day (all photography by Jim Pollard Goes Click – such a talent!):
Jennifer and Paul, it was such a pleasure working with you on your letterpress wedding invitations! All the very best for married life ahead xx
