Happy Easter everyone! It’s been a gorgeous autumn day here in Melbourne, and unwrapping those shiny gold eggs got us thinking of a particularly lovely gold foil press wedding invitation suite that we designed and printed recently for Sydney couple Jane and Brian.
Married in a ceremony at the Kincoppal-Rose Bay Chapel in Vaucluse, and followed by an elegant reception at Sergeants Mess in Chowder Bay, Jane and Brian chose our GALA design, but with a little customisation – the addition of a sweet pea illustration.
We love customising any of our designs in this way – it adds a lovely personal touch and truly makes the design the couple’s own. The result is these stunning foil press wedding invitations, which we foil-pressed in metallic gold onto 100% cotton ivory stock, and paired with matching envelopes, lined with our gold and cream stripe envelope liners.
For Jane and Brian we also created matching reply postcards, a wishing well card and an info insert card, all digitally printed. Jane chose our metallic gold bakers twine to tie each suite together and finished each invitation with one of our personalised invitation name tags, bound with gold eyelets.
We also created Jane and Brian’s order of service booklets – each one machine stitched with metallic gold thread – plus their menus, placecards and seating chart.
We were so happy when Jane sent through their stunning wedding photos, and we saw how our stationery perfectly suited the style of their day. It’s glamorous, elegant and sophisticated – the perfect match for our GALA wedding invitation.
Isn’t this wedding just beautiful?! I love Jane’s dress and the pop of cobalt blue for the bridesmaids. And cruising on Sydney Harbour… gotta love that, any time, day or season! Simply stunning.
Jane and Brian, we had so much fun working with you for your wedding stationery and we wish you all the very best for a long and happy life together xx
