  • Can I get samples?
    Yes you can! Go here.
  • Can I see a printed sample in specific colours with my wording?
Because of the set-up costs involved in professional printing, we unfortunately cannot print samples in specific colours. Samples are available in the colours we have in stock at the time of your order. Of course, when you place your order, we can print your stationery in any combination of colours you would like!
  • Can I change the colours for any design?
Yes you can, and for no extra cost! You can read more about that here.
  • How long does the process take?
Letterpress, foil press and digital print orders all require approx. 2-3 weeks for delivery, starting from when we receive your final approval on the proofs. We can sometimes deliver sooner, if your order is urgent – just let us know when you need delivery by and we will see what we can do!
  • What are the prices?
Please email us to receive a copy of our itemised pricelist.
  • Do you do custom design?
Yes we do! We love custom projects. Email us for more info.
  • I have my invitation already designed – can you print it for me?
Yes we can! Email us with the details and we’ll provide a quote.
  • How many invitations should I order?
You will need one invitation per couple/family you are inviting (not one per guest). We recommend ordering an extra 10-15 on top of what you think you will need, to allow for spares – remember guest lists have a way of expanding!
  • Can you print just one or two extras for me later on if I need them?
Due to the significant set up costs involved in printing, unfortunately we cannot print just one or two later on. It is therefore very important to factor in some spares into your initial order to avoid falling short.
  • Can I see a printed proof of my design?
Due to the time-consuming nature of letterpress printing, and the need to get plates made, mix inks, set up the press etc, we are not able to offer printed proofs of orders. All proofing is done via email using colour PDFs, and you can make as many changes as you like until you are completely happy with the final design.
  • Do you have a shop I can come and visit?
We have plans for a studio with appointments available on request in the near future! Presently however we are an online boutique only.
  • How will my invitations arrive?
We send all orders via Express Post with a signature on delivery and online tracking. Each part of your order will be carefully wrapped and packaged so it arrives at your door in pristine condition.
  • How long before the wedding should I send my invitations out?
Roughly 6-8 weeks before the wedding is customary to get invitations in the post. Your RSVP date should be set for 3 weeks prior to the wedding.
  • I want a specific colour. Can you match it?
Yes we can! Simply let us know the Pantone number or post us a paint swatch.
  • Can I choose the fonts?
Yes you can! Unless you request otherwise, we will create your proofs using the fonts shown in the design you’ve chosen, but you are welcome to change these at the proofing stage.
  • Do you design ‘day of wedding’ items like menus and order of service booklets?
Yes we do! Order of service booklets, gift tags, menus, placecards, coasters, seating chart posters, signs… the list is endless!
  • Can you print guest names onto the invitations?
With digital print – yes (a $50 flat fee for personalisation applies). With letterpress – no. This is because everything printed has to be printed from a plate (so we’d need a separate plate for each name). Options include just addressing the envelopes (we have personalised labels available), leaving a space to handwrite guest names onto the invitations, or our personalised invitation name tags.
  • What sort of paper do you print your stationery on?
We use only the best papers – nothing cheap or flimsy here! For letterpress and foil press, we use Crane’s Lettra in 300gsm in either ivory or bright white. It’s 100% cotton, soft and luxurious and it takes the impression beautifully. For digital print orders, we use the closest stock we can find to our cotton stock – it’s either ivory or bright white and has a subtle eggshell texture. We also have some specialty coloured stocks available.
  • I have a budget. Can you work within it?
Please email us and let us know what your budget is, and we will happily advise what the options are to stick within it.
  • Do you have a minimum order quantity?
Yes we do – it’s 30 for digital print orders, and 50 for letterpress/foil press.
  • What printing methods do you use?
Letterpress, foil press and digital print.
  • What is letterpress?
You can read about that here.
  • What is foil press?
You can read about that here.
  • What is digital print?
You can read about that here.
  • Can I combine letterpress with digital print on my invitation?
Unfortunately this is not something we can do. The cotton stock required for letterpress/foil press is not a digital-rated stock and too soft/textured to go through the digital press.
  • I’ve seen a design I like. Can you copy it?
We cannot copy another design, due to copyright law. However we can design something original for you, with a similar look and feel, but our own fresh take on it.
  • What’s the payment process?
Once you’ve approved the quote, we do a 50% deposit in order to confirm your booking and begin design work. The remaining balance is payable once your order is printed and before we post it out.
  • How can I keep the cost down?
    – Print 1 colour letterpress rather than 2
    – Have letterpress/foil press for the invite only and pair with digital print for the other items
    – Skip the reply card and put your RSVP info on the invitation
    – Have a smaller sized invitation (use our thank you/save the date card size)
